Blindness

One morning, while walking down a certain road, I came across a little girl, who was good-looking and well-dressed, but blind. She asked me if I could help her cross the road. Taking her across I asked her how she managed without sight. The answer she gave me later was so illuminating. She first asked me my name and then asked if I had read the Bible. I replied that I hardly had. With a smile she asked me to read the book of the prophet Isaiah 35: 4, 5 and told me that though she could not see and needed people like me to help her, she would see in heaven.

Dear reader, that little girl was blind physically but spiritually she was not. If you are blind spiritually, confess your sins to Jesus, repent and accept Him as your personal Saviour. And remember that Amu, the little blind girl, opened the eyes of a spiritually blind man.
